Welcome to DawnsArt.com.  I have been working with glass as an artistic medium for 40 years using leading, copper foil, dalle de verre, sandblasting, fusing, glass painting both new and restoration, glassblowing and casting.  

Large scale residential and liturgical design and glass painting are my specialties, and I have worked with many professional glass studios including Anchor Glass Studio, Canterbury Stained Glass, Martino Stained Glass, Merry Go Round Glass Studio, Pleasant View Glassworks, Stained Glass Designs, Stained Glass Unlimited of Florida, Tiffany Art Glass, Village Glass Works, Weeg, Barning and Bates Stained Glass Studio, Williams Art Glass and World of Glass.  The pursuit of personal visions in my artwork using glass as a form of expression remains a vital part of my life.

The ancient art of kiln firing paint onto stained glass is one I have embraced for 30 years.  I love doing new painted pieces, but have been able to duplicate hundreds of antique pieces to replace broken and missing glass in a wide variety of painting styles, from grisaille stencil work to enamelled and silver stained antique pieces.

I have recently begun sculpting and working with porcelain and stoneware clay, and created a series of handmade jewelry inspired by the beauty of nature.
